A BIG surprise. Just saw this on Netflix.
Directed by Kevin Smith (Clerks, Jay and Silent Bob...)!! HUGE surprise. I didnt think he was still directing. Purely accidental find.
A BIIIIGGGG difference from his former movies.
I HIGHLY recommend this movie. I think it was well written, directed and the story was exciting and creative.
Kevin Smith has shown himself to be a serious director with this movie.

I watched this one a few days ago and found it to be average, but still worth the 90 mins or so. It's certainly a departure for Kevin's comedy movies. It is somewhat disturbing in that it is essentially about religious fanaticism with all hell breaking loose. I thought John Goodman stole the show, he's great as the FBI guy.



**SPOILER BELOW**

The ending was absolutely hilarious, hearing another prisoner telling the nutjob to "Shut the f*ck up" was very satisfying. Since the audience is subjected to long winded tyrannical rhetoric by the cult-like leader.
