[FILM] Shutter Island

This is one of the most weirdest films I think I have ever seen, saw it yesterday, it twist and turns and about half way through you think you have the story. worth a look it might even question your own mental state

Shutter Island tells the story of a U.S marshall Teddy Daniels, and his Partner Chuck Aule (Say that a couple times fast) and their search for an escaped patient of the Shutter Island mental institution run by Dr. Cawley and the Warden. Through his search Teddy finds hidden secrets about the Island, the patients, his partner, and even himself. Remember Things aren't always what they seem to be...

The film has received a lot of hype in this country. Not my type of film although my kids all want to see it.

While on the subject of the green screen, one that thing that really disappointed me and took me out of the moment was the opening scene with leo and mark on the boat, with some extremely bad green screen behind them, much worse to me than the shots in the jeep driving up to the compound.

I was disappointed with this film. I thought the plot was hollow and not very original. I feel bad for the people who paid 10.00 to go see it at the theater.

I watched this today and was pleasantly surprised... it does twist your brain a bit... I mean we all know what was going to pan out but the way they have done it is good. I quite enjoyed it... a good turn from Di Caprio as well. Thumbs up.
