Old War Comics Covers

Picked this up at a book sale this weekend ...collection of cover artwork from all those old British war comics ... a lot of fun ... will scane some of them in for avatars and the like.

Interesting fact is that most of the cover art for these comics was painted by Italian and Spanish artists.

Anybody still got a collection of these in a box at home somewhere?

Unfortunately my mom tossed mine in the garbage when I left for University..

I wished I still had them though.

Maybe its because our respective moms found Playboys in between the comic books ?

I still have a lot of the old 'commando' comics that I bought as a kid...

I swapped bags of them for American pulp magazines.

Funny how your moms binned them... my mother in law bought me this last week. LOL
