This mod thins out the leaves to make the trees appear more natural and true to life, and the bark is sharpened up and enhanced so it isn’t as blurry. The hedge (low bocage in CMBN) is also made to appear more natural. Also included are three tweaked ground tiles (grass, yellow grass, grain) designed to go with this mod. The grass texture and distant ground texture are the same allowing for a more seamless appearance between the map and world box.
NOTE: If you are using this mod along with any other terrain mods, these must load LAST in order for them to work. Add a z or two or six in front of the folder name, like so: zzzzzRamblers CMBS Trees & Hedge. Next, order your mod folder by name. The Trees & Hedge folder should be last. The game will now ignore any other tree edits in the other terrain mods and use this mod instead. Should your existing terrain mod be a brz, you will need to brz this mod and then follow the procedure outlined previously to ensure it loads last.

Thought that MG team couldn’t see you through the tree tops from that upper floor window? Had that squad run in to trouble because that route you visually checked was covered by some really dense bocage you couldn’t see through? This is a must have mod. It adds definition to all the edges of the leaves on the in game foliage, bocage and hedgerows. All this really helps visualize what you can see and what can possibly see you. Now you can see what the AI sees instead of just a large mass where a whole lot of textures run together. Heck I never payed much attention to Tree B in CMBN. Thought that it was a skinny pine tree until this mod defined its Poplar tree shape so well that it made me take a closer look at the “new tree” and then realize that’s what Tree B really is.
