Mission Brief

After over 2 weeks of heavy fighting the US 7th Cavalry has finally secured the towns of Hasle & Klemensker. The Commander of Task Force 49 wants to maintain momentum and push south to the coast, securing the western side of the island. Russian forces have fortified the southern town with heavy weapons and light armour. Alpha, Bravo and Charlie Companies are to assault in the early hours after mortars from 6 Platoon have disabled the heavy weapons.

Septic's Merry Mortarmen knock out one of two BTRs at a VDV command post:

Ithikial directing fire onto another VDV command post. This one had several HMG positions, two BTRs and some foot patrols. This line falls a tad short:

A readjust and the rounds fall right on target:

Another BTR falls prey to 120mm mortars:

By my tally the mortars knocked out four BTRs, one Shilka, three HMG positions, numerous troops and totally flattened one command post. Good shootin' and good FOin'.

@Ithikial What's up with all those gagging sounds coming from Rambler when you are up in that tower? If he was injured couldn't you just give him some morphine to just STFU? lol! Sounds like the man was severely struggling with containing his diarrhea or trying to expel his constipation or something.

I like the sombre ending to your second vid. Poor Little Roo! That was a crazy gun fight BTW. Had we not had that defilade cover in the middle of that grassy field out the front of the saw mill, I am sure we would have all met Little Roos fate, and much sooner.

Did you guys keep going and finish the mission? Yeah it was going on Midnight and had to be ready for work in 7 hours.

Yeah we did...prob another 1/2 hr after you left I think, mopping up enemy lurking in the grassy area that was in front of where you fell.

It was hell trying to keep it all inside, but I managed . Seriously though, I don't know what that was all about. I had no idea my character was making that sound until I was watching Ith's vid. I was like, what is that grunting? That's me?! Weird too, because I was not injured in any way, and I couldn't hear those sounds on my end. I would have done something about it if I had! The only thing I can figure out is that at 9:01 to 9:05 you can see me do some funky falling and getting up deal that never happened on my end which may have had something to do with it. Who knows, that's Arma for you!
