Not only a good overview of the battle, but goes into a lot of detail on tactics: extensive use of drones, electronic jamming, electronic surveillance, psy ops, etc.

One thing which surprised me was the extensive use of artillery by both sides.

I think it gives a glimpse of what a new great war would be like. Back in the trenches once again. Automatic artillery aimed by computers and drones will be incredibly powerful, including against tanks.

Just caught up with this. Fascinating stuff. Scope for plenty of scenarios. Agree with @Rico the article really needed some good maps as it was hard to visualise what was going on.
