Operation BOUNTY
Phase CADMIUM – target King of Clubs
Two key leadership figures are believed to be commanding IS forces in Syria, northeast of Hasakah. Russian VDV troops are operating out of a small FOB close to the area. NASOE has secured an agreement to stage covert operations from the Russian base. Military support has been offered by Russian Military Intelligence however the exact nature is at the discretion of the base commander.
The King Of Clubs has been spotted in the settlements of Gûndê Silko (خشمان) & Gûndê Bavê Kevir (قرية ابو Øجر). Deploy, sweep through the settlements and capture or kill the target. The civilian presence is not expected to be hostile however any direct engagement will result in an armed civilian response. If the target is terminated the team are to bring back the body for 100% confirmation. Caution is advised, this will be a CQB sweep so ensure the team is equipped with flash bangs and appropriate weaponry.
Commander decision will be made on the day.
