A Job you never got

When I lived in London for many years born and bred, I tried to get a job with the London Fire Brigade, I passed every thing they through at me, and I was a strong little Bugger, and the thing they shot me down on was i wasn't tall enough, being 5 foot 4 inches and a bit, That was back in 1957.

Have any of you Guy's tried for a Job you really wanted and failed through some thing quiet small, sorry about the PUN or any other reason

Well mate I learnt long ago that it was a waste of time applying for a job if the interviewer was a woman, because if you didn't look like Tom Cruise, George Clooney or Paul Newman, no way were you gonna get the job..
