Afrikakorps -15th Pz.Div.Opel Blitz mitt flak38. Built in 1/35 scale, I used the Italeri Opel Blitz 3ton truck and the Dragon 20mm flak38. There's lot's of fabrication involved in the fighting compartment with gun mount anchors (shoes) made from thin sheet styrene. The ammunition can rack located at the front of the bed behind the cab, was made from balsa wood and is covered with a tarp made from facial tissue.

Love this, absolute top class stuff of the type that you see in the top magazines. I especially like the worn and grimy area where the men would have walked on the top deck around the gun.

Great stuff and a daunting inspiration to us lesser mortals....
 
I'm building the same kit of the blitz in my current project. Hope it turns out half as good as this one.
