It does look amazing.
I have watched two others, the original 1930 black-and-white classic and the 1979 made-for-TV movie.
This one looks to be the most impactful.
As a matter of fact I had seen the trailer and was so moved by his quote I looked up others and decided to make one my signature.

Likely I will watch, but it just looks so damned depressing...just like its predecessors.

It premiered here today. I just have to wait for the right moment at home.
I thought it was very well done
Very well done but still falls a bit short of the original in my book.
Well made in terms of production values (watched about half of it)— but very little resemblance or respect for the book as source material.
Basically just used the book title for marketing/recognition value and the main characters names.

I agree, but for the character names and a few modified scenes taken from the book and original movie it could not have been called "All's Quiet..."

Yesterday I finished watching it. The protagonist's melee fight with the French soldier in the last instance of the war is dramatic. And after the end of the war, see how the French and Germans cross each other in the trenches as if nothing had happened.
