...this map of visitors comes up. Some poor guy is in the far north of Canada on the shore of Hudson Bay..

Yeah the map is automatic and nobody's got any control over it, it only gives approximate locations to protect peoples privacy, it's put me 200 miles away in the poncey London area

I was wondering the same thing, maybe it's not a member but a lurker.

Yeah it shows guests. It reads the last 100 ip addresses and plots them roughly onto a map... gives a good indication of what continent is viewing us the most and where the lurkers are coming from.
