Scrolling through a thread I saw a Stafford post and his location of Western Australia.
It made me think of the Americas Cup way back when.
I haven't heard about the Cup in quite awhile so did some looking up.
It's going to be in Barcelona next year.

But what made my jaw drop was the pictures of the "boats".
It doesn't seem much like sailing anymore but more playing video game.
I guess I'm just an old school wood hull and canvas sails kind o' guy.
The boats today look like something out of the War of the Worlds.

I agree.
It seems to me they should have a rule that for a boat to race for the Cup the boat actually needs to be in the water.
Just sayin'.

They are amazing really, whether it's right or not who knows, afraid it's like most things these days they have changed so much you just go with the Flo

I see what you're saying Ted it's just I worry it's all becoming push button and it'll become just one man and an iPad controlling the boat minimizing a teams sailing skills.
