Hello all and sundry,

I've finally taken the plunge and signed up to a few good men. I've been aware of the group ever since I started playing CMBN, primarily through Ithikial's youtube channel, which I've enjoyed watching for quite a while now. I thought I should get involved, though, particularly as the head to heads looked rather fun. There's nothing like a human opponent, I find.

I'm an Australian (Australians are slowly taking over, as is right and proper), and a military historian.

Oh, and the name comes from Iain Banks.
 
Southeastern Australia huh? Is that an alternative state, like being a Taswegian?? :cheers:

Cheers! Well, I was from a little fishing village called Melbourne, but have moved further north. So I've made my region rather broad. I'm a tram-riding, coffee loving, AFL-is-real-football boy at heart, though.

I'm looking forward to having a few games - the healthy rivalry and camaraderie evident in some of the AARs made it look like a bit of fun.

Joining this community was the right decision because Combat Mission is at it's best when played head to head (H2H). :cool:

For to get involved into the PBEM H2H gaming action, please go to the gaming section and choose the category with
the game that you'd like to play (CMBS or CMBN etc.). There you'll find the postings for gaming requests
(just scroll down a little). And there you may also start your own, of course. ;)
