Hi and welcome to Sacktime's first post. Take your boots off, coffee is in the pot, beer is in the fridge.

Well enough pleasantries, now on to the the serious stuff. I live in Canada, currently on the tail end of a long military career as a Combat Engineer. Married, with 3 boys, enjoy all the stuff outside has to offer, except fishing, just can't get into fishing.

As for games I enjoy, currently invested some hard earned money into the whole CMBN and expansions. So this is what lead me to FGM site, I have come to make some new friends and to pick your brains.

Yo Sacktime, welcome aboard. How about a little info on who you are and what brings you here?
You also may want to revisit the profile page and add your e-mail so that your mates here can send you invites to whichever games you prefer.
It will appear at the bottom of your avatar field.

Hello Sacktime, welcome to THE FEW GOOD MEN!
Good to have you with us! :)

Joining this community was the right decision because Combat Mission is at it's best when played against other humans. ;)
But in our download section you will also find a lot of new scenarios to play against the AI.

Enjoy the club and become a part of our community - there are many reliable gaming partners here, plenty of stuff to
check out and good people to meet. :)

Welcome Pat!

Hi Sackman!
Welcome from a fellow former US "Combat Engineer"! I'm sure you will enjoy yourself with the FGM! Good luck on the CM Battlefield. Essayons!

I carry a 12b MOS as well...<0

Got my first taste of working with Demo as a Facman in the Nam. I was responsible for the building of our LZs when in the Bush. Sometimes there where some 'BIG' trees in the way.
My first year in the Army National Guard was as a 12b, due to my Nam exp.

Good to hear I'm among fellow "Thumper Heads". An old general reference once used to explain to the new Lt. what that deep, low, thump, thump, thump......thump, thump..sound was. "That there, sir is your Thumper Heads, the Combat Engineers, they, well they are winning the war, Sir".
