Arma 3 Expansion Terrain Reveal - Tanoa

BIS revealed the new terrain for the expansion coming out next year, and it's a South Pacific archipelago called Tanoa. From the vid, it looks pretty sweet. I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah looks nice. I just remember out last foray into a jungle environment as the 1st FGM... <sniff> start minting new Purple Hearts now.

It has a lot of potential. Looking back at the FGM foray into jungle I think I structured the missions incorrectly for the terrain. It will be interesting to see how BI and scripters write missions for the new terrain.

I'm hoping my computer is back soon, we can go back to some pew pew.

I think a big part of the problem with our last foray into the jungle had more to do with the fact that most of the foliage on the Nzwisago (sp?) map was Arma 2 foliage. AI can see right through A2 greens in A3, whereas we the players obviously can't. I'd be willing to bet that BIS will nix that problem with Tanoa.
