Dealing with this Abrams was a pain. It was just barely in a hull down position(turret towards us, hull side on) and it just shrugged off our Sabot rounds since the front turret was the only thing we could hit. We started to run out of Sabot and switched to HEAT which turned out to be the solution. The lower velocity and the resulting arching trajectory of the HEAT rounds allowed it to shoot over the rise in the ground and still land on the hull, finally allowing us to destroy the Abrams.
That's some fine gunnery.
Thank you. There were some really sweaty moments, though.
