Couldn't fix the Stargate mission so we'll be taking a trip to the Pacific. Concord can propably see the AO from his backyard if he squints a little.
Situation
With the US Pacific fleet crippled at Pearl Harbor, the Japanese Empire is free to launch attacks across South-East Asia.
We will be taking part on a parachute landing on the Pulau islands part of the Celebes islands
Mission
Our platoon will be airdropped on the northern part of Pulau Gurun and our main objective is to secure the airfield at the very center of the island. Secondary objectives include clearing out the identified enemy strongpoints around the island.
Once we secure the airfield a resupply will be dropped for us there.
Enemy
Enemy forces are mostly made up of Dutch colonial troops. They are lightly equipped with small arms and very little vehicles or heavy weapons, with the Dutch homeland being occupied by the Germans, they've had to make due with what they already have. The fortified hilltop south of Apal village is known to have two old light howitzers.
A small contingent of British Commonwealth troops have recently landed on the island. We suspect that they are there to get the airbase operational.
