While most Allied troops push south inland, our group of combat engineers is tasked with checking the status of German fortifications running along the shore due east of our beachead. If those positions are still occupied we are to clear them out and we are also tasked with sweeping & clearing abandoned positions for booby traps and mines.

We had a bit of a close call shortly after investigating and leaving the second position and just before we engaged that 3 man patrol.
