Operation Bakewell Tart (Campaign Overview)

The island of Tanoa, off the east coast of Fiji, has been taken over by an insurrectionist force intent on disrupting the mining of recently discovered Rare Earth Materials. Until the discovery of REM the island's GDP was extremely low and most of the civilian population lives at the poverty line. A military force has been dispatched to secure the island, however the UN mandate is still pending.

This is a perpetual mission requiring the gathering of intel, promoting a positive reputation with the civilian population, IEDs and the management of combat assets and equipment. More intel will be provide at the main operating base on the north eastern side of the island.

It felt challenging, interesting with the intel gathering aspect and a great balance between operational action and engagement. A big call out to Vart and Redbully for their medic skills and saving me from near death... twice... If peeps are up for it we can run this next weekend, picking up where we left off after destroying an ammo cache, still not touched the 5 insurrection bases

I really enjoy ACE, and the slow / realistic pace it enforces, just rusty as all heck (ARMA 2 ACE was a looooong time ago.....).
