Has anyone got any decent book recommendations for low-level tactics? I'm thinking of a WW2 version of Rommel's 'Infantry Attacks'. Something which goes into tactics and how they worked in actuality rather than a field manual!...

Another great one that focuses on the 20th century:

Combined Arms Warfare in the Twentieth Century

Fire Force: A Trooper's War in the Rhodesian Light Infantry by Chris Cocks, first person account of vertical envelopment, the bush war, and the FN FAL. Interesting tactics, some of these troopers logged in over 70 combat jumps.

I just started reading this. So far so good. Thanks for the recommendation.
