An amazing read for any historian or those interested in the second world war. From Volume 1 to 12 Churchill shares his worries and strategies.
His meetings with Roosevelt and Stalin are quite interesting especially near the end when the tension with Stalin began.
He tells of his trips to the frontlines and when he was sailing past the cost of Normandy he asks if the ships guns could
shell a patch of woods that could have German troops hidden in it.
All in all a must read.
Sorry I don't have an ISBN posted as the copy(s) I have where printed in 1964 and cost 5 pence.
