Wow, I heard on the radio just now that Cali is supposed to get 10" of rain today and this means an imminent danger of MUDSLIDES in the large, record burned area acreage. Man, I guess when it rains it pours.
As usual it's just the media looking for something to fill the space.
Now and until Saturday or so we are having our first serious rains of the season. Just like every year.
Given the fires from last season, started mainly due to lightening strikes, there are some areas subject to flooding and mud slides.
This is the exact same story the media presents every year. Only the date is changed.
Thank goodness for the rains or about now we'd be getting the regurgitated drought stories instead.
We're fine. Move along. Nothing to see here.
