I've been lucky enough to travel quite a bit during my lifetime, and as a boy I lived all over the world as my dad was in the army....
One of my fondest memories was spending three weeks over Xmas in 1972 ( we were living in Brussels at the time) in this pretty little village in Switzerland with my best friend at the time - his family had a chalet here.....I learned to ski and got a sun tan at the same time.
He is now a Senior Lecturer at the Sotheby's Institute of Art. He is the author of Flows and Counterflows: Globalisation in Contemporary Art and writes for Art Monthly and New Left Review. He lives in London.
Happy days.
