Before you remind me, I have already posted this in the Battlefront Forum and messaged Battlefront.com.
The attached screen grab shows a shadow bug that appears on the south side (only) of the larger two and three storey buildings in CMRT. It appears in both unmodded original games (i.e. no 'z' directory or mods installed) and modded versions. The game is Engine 4, v 2.11 with Fire and Rubble installed. The shadow has no relationship to any struture. It always appears on the south side only even if the building is reversed. I have not tried facing the building east or west. Any ideas?

The issue appears to be related to the Advanced Shaders code. When Shaders are 'OFF' (ALT-R) the shadow artifact disappears. Shadows ON (Alt-W) does not produce the artifact as long as Shaders are OFF.

Replacing the game's inherent Shaders with BarbaricCo's War Movie Advanced Shaders, unfortunately does not solve the issue.

Since the issues seems to be related to the program code, I don't think there is anything the player can do other than to turn Shaders off if the issues is bothering the player. I have not tried different weather conditions or seasons (will do that today).

FURTHER INVESTIGATION:
Building Type: Does not remove shaders artifact. It appears on some independent, some commercial, some church, and some modullar. Could not discern it on miscellaneous due to thatch roof mod.
Season: The time of year, i.e. 'month', does not remove the artifact
Ground Condition: e.g., 'snow' , does not remove the artifact
Time of day: does not remove
East-West Facing: Makes the artifact worse. Size of artifact increased on west side (Relates to sun position and time of day).

GOOD NEWS: Camera angle does affect the artifact positively and negatively. Camera closer to ground makes the artifact worse. Camera higher in the air (estimate about 45 degrees) makes the artifact disappear!
