Hey all, I've been reading about the Oregon maneuver, and thought it may be fun to try and use it as a setting for CM:FI, since Blue v Blue is more typically reserved for the modern titles.

The Oregon Maneuver were performed in the autumn of 1943 with a Blue Force comprised of the US 91st and 104th Infantry Divisions, and a Red Force of the 96th Infantry Division. After the initial phase of US involvement in Africa, Italy and the Pacific regions, the Army had discovered a number of tactical and operational difficulties the they wanted to overcome before invading Western Europe. I've put together a scenario to test this setting for a Blue v Blue in the WW2 titles, and created a map based on rural Oregon, in CM:FI so that I can use the US43B battalion OOBs and TO&Es.

The 383rd Infantry Regiment's First Battalion are digging-in around Crooked Lake, preparing a defensive line along a fordable inlet. The Second and Third Battalions of the 414th Infantry Regiment, supported by B Co., 329th Engineer Battalion and the divisional 104th Cavalry Recon Troop, to ford this inlet and penetrate the fortified position to enter the enemy's rear and capture the 383rd Regiment's HQ and mustering area.

I haven't quite learned how to do AI plans yet, so I'd love to test this scenario PBEM or provide the scenario files to any duos that would like to test it. No clue if it'll be balanced, since I've never done something like this with the WW2 titles. Hoping to have it finished and uploaded in early May.
