Just watched this and I'm unsure quite how to describe how I feel about it.
I watched it specifically because the "lead" actor was Travis Fimmel, who we all know as Ragnar Lothbrok! I mean how bad could it be?
I was very disappointed in his performance, or I should say his lack of performance. The writers and director gave him absolutely nothing to do other than look concerned and, on occasion, provide that now famous blue-eyed stare. Other than one scene early on I bet he didn't say more than 100 words thereafter!
The action was fair, but nothing of significance or new. Some guys died, some didn't. In reality, Delta company had 18 killed. The movie made it look like 5x that.
So, probably worth your time, but keep expectations at a minimum.
Watched it on Amazon.
