Not completely true. They can weigh up to 6 kilo (13 pounds).

That is just saying that the weight for such a Bird can be less than 9 pounds, which is a Good specimen, obvious there are heaviour Birds

Back in the 60's and 70's when cattlemen were blaming everything for they loses, they would fly in Helicopters to hunt down all birds of prey. Most of them stop shooting Golden Eagles, because if you kill the mate, and other one will attack the Helicopter. Just think what an impact of a diving 10 pound golden eagle and blades of the helicopter would happens. There are recorded reports of downed helicopter due to that. They switched to coyotes and other target that didn't counter-attack...what cowards LOL.
