Fancy a cruise in the Sunny South Pacific off New Zealand

Found this video of the Pacific Sun cruise ship as it sailed through some stormy weather in the South Pacific off the coast of New Zealand in September this year.

I think I'll fly.

Way cool.

These people have got a much better story to tell now... Instead of just getting blitzed on Mai-Tai's and passing out on the poop deck, they were surfing waxy hardwood while dodging lunatic lounge chairs flying at their heads... Fun, exciting and unexpected.

I thought most things should have been bolted to the deck on any ship?

I have seen these docos on the new cruise liners, all about stabilizers fins and etc. I don't see any proof of them. lol

I like poop deck, where would the vomit deck be then ?

Ship is awfully high out of the water and looks top heavy. Just not ready (or designed) for much weather . Listing to starboard as well.
I was on a Princes cruise earlier this year to Hawaii and back and the Pacific was a bit rough, 30' swells in places, and while the ship tossed and rolled pretty good at times it wasn't really all that uncomfortable (and a little it fun if I were to be honest, but I didn't get sick so...).
Of course the Golden Princess is a bit different than that piece of crap. http://www.princess.com/video/dvd/GoldenGrandStarCE09.html
