Yes it is a great movie. Great one-liners. For me one of the best Clint Eastwood movies.

Yes, I saw Gran Torino too. It is a good movie. Perhaps more appealing to a broader audience (you can watch it with your wife). Heartbreak Ridge is a fantastic "male" movie. The one part I liked least was the part when they had landed on Grenada and the recruits suddenly became, and acted like, veterans.

This movie came out when I was serving in the 1st Ranger Bn. The older guys in my unit, who actually jumped on Grenada wouldn't watch it. The movie didn't even try to depict an accurate account of the battle. This is one Eastwood movie that I will pass on.
