With CM Red Thunder’s Fire and Rubble module coming out in the near, hopefully, future I thought one way of getting some quick experience of late war East Front action is to have a tournament.

I know not everyone has CMRT and not everyone is in to playing tournaments so I thought I would bring this up here.

There will be four Quick Battles played on two different maps.
(The sizes of the maps and the amount of games are flexible)

Each player will play two games on each map, one as the Allied and one Axis for a total of four games.
The weather conditions, types of maps, size and types of battles, meeting engagements, Probes, Attacks etc. are to be determined.
(Actually the whole tournament is to be determined depending on interest.)

The structure of the tournament is also to be determined.
For instance
Players play all 4 scenarios and the highest score wins
Or
Everyone plays the first round of two rounds and the higher half of the scorers go on to the next round.
Or
Something else

I would be interested in such a tournament. I think a culmination of scores from all four rounds would probably be best.

Sounds interesting!

Not sure if I can participate though, as my basket is already pretty full. Adding two or more (?) games to be played at the same time will be a challenge I guess.

Honestly, Battlefronts "soon to release" may still be weeks away.

I was thinking about this a bit.
How about an all armor battle on a huge map Kursk like.
Using standard rarity so it's not all giants and giants.
Being all armor it should be manageable with the not an over abundance of units to move.
A meeting engagement with no VL and only casualty points(?)

And maybe a city attack.

Nice I'm in. Like @Lethaface my basket is quite full, but with fire and rubble undoubtedly not being released tomorrow it might just fit with 2 games that are going towards end for me.

I would love to get some scenario's in there too. I know they can feel unfair, so maybe playing both sides (maybe even at the same time  )? But hey, i have no experience with tournaments anyways so don't mind me too much.
