Hello from the American Midwest. GHQ is on a farm with the wife and kids. Back in the1980s I was in the 313 MI Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division. About a year ago a friend got me interested in Combat Missions. Looking forward to many missions.

Hello Mos, welcome to THE FEW GOOD MEN!
Good to have you with us!
Joining this community was the right decision because Combat Mission is at it's best when played against other humans
- but in our download section you will also find a lot of new scenarios to play against the AI.
Enjoy the club and become a part of our community - there are many reliable gaming partners here, plenty of stuff to
check out and good people to meet.
Welcome to a fellow "Airborne Soldier"! Good luck and enjoy your "Missions"! I'm sure you will have a good time here on this site! Adio from Dubrovnik!
Thanks for the welcome. Almost like being back with the platoon at Fort Bragg. I read the threads suggested by Hedgehog. The story of a Few Good Men was an interesting read. Also, I downloaded the scenario Bad Apples. My thanks to Odin on the Battlefront forum for the link to the scenario. The scenario designer, Rambler, did a fantastic job and I am enjoying the battle. I have a friend, who was a Cav Scout, that I PBEM with usually on larger maps. When he has the turn and is contemplating his next tactical mistake, I like to have a small battle going against the AI while I wait. Scenarios like Bad Apples are perfect for this.
Speaking of scenarios I noticed there was a donate button. Since I downloaded a scenario and will probably download more scenarios, especially scenarios that are made by the same designer, is there a normal / average/ expected/ amount that should be donated? Thanks again.
Yep. One hundred million dollars! Just kidding. Nice to have you join up. Fort Bragg eh! I lived in Fayettville, NC for a year. Played some ball there for the Generals.
I don't know of a suggested donation amount. And since you're an FNG , the value to you has yet to be established. I never donate the same amount, just what I feel comfortable with at the time. And if I may speak out of school for Bootie, I suspect he would be pleased with any contribution to his efforts.
