Looking at Avira anti virus, are any of you blokes run this and tell what do you think of it please

Hey Ted,
I've heard that one of the best FREE anti-virus programs is AVG Anti-virus.
I use Norton on a shared subscription, really happy with it, easy and effective.
Can't weigh in on Avira.

Thank's Mikey ...I have used AVG and running it again on a 30 trial, having trouble finding the link for the full monty for AVG.....any one got it ?

There is a free version of AVG you dont need to buy it mate http://free.avg.com/gb-en/homepage

Yes I use Avast, and so far so good, and also not as resource hungry as some anti-virus programmes.

I use AVG. Seems to make my PC much slower. But that can be the age of my PC too !

Yes AVG can do that , I found before my PC up grade from 1g of Ram to 6g .
