Future wars will be virtual wars ?

That;s not virtual, it's still real life :)

This is virtual:
The game is set in 2065, and the world's military forces have been transferred to the World Wide War Web in an effort to eliminate the loss of actual human life. Every country, whether they be a superpower or in the Third World, have been represented accordingly. Wars are fought through this system, and the winner of each battle takes the loser's electronic infrastructure.

I think that unmanned combat vehicles are definitely going to play a role in future conflicts, but the bottom line in any conflict is that you still need someone to "close with and destroy the enemy". Folks with boots on the ground that will take and hold ground.
 
And what about ending wars ? What would happen if they called for a war and nobody came ?
You know the saying : " War is made by people who kill each other without knowing each other, for the great benefit of people who know well each other, but don't kill each other..."

On Eminiar VII, the Enterprise finds a civilization at war with its planetary neighbor. Unable to discern any signs of battle from orbit, Captain Kirk leads a landing party to the surface where he discovers the entire war is fought by computer. After the Enterprise is destroyed in an attack simulation, Kirk must fight to keep his crew from death.
