"Generation War" Mini Series

For all you who were not aware this mini series exists I'll post a trailer for those:

This mini series is one of the best I've seen and I was always looking for something like band of brothers but from the german perspective. I really like the neutral fashion of this were they don't try to hype the hero mode for the german or anybody else.
The combat scenes are really intense and authentic. Maybe some pitfalls like someone running away from a russian assault without being hit in the back...but hey...maybe the russian order was not to shoot the fleeing one since he wasn't a threat anyway?

However - take a look. Especially if you play axis this will push ur imagination for combat situations a bit in my opinion.

This very good series -- just a few outrageous coincidences in how the characters keep running into each other on the vast Eastern Front ... but otherwise very good, worth a watch.

I agree, I guess the 'suspension of disbelief' kicks in.

Yes, it was already televised here in original German dialogues. Adds to the atmosphere. Great series. Worth to watch (despite the chance encounters on the eastern front).
