The movie, for the most part is just dreadful.
Poor, very grainy video "quality."
Unbelievably bad acting compounded by battle scenes repeated over and over for no other reason to apparently try to save some money.
"Hey, the audience will never notice, so why not?!
Unless you can watch it for free some way, please save a couple of hours of your life and do something else.
This from a serious student of the ACW.

Agree, book was good.
Killer Angels by Shaara's father was easily the best of the trilogy though.
I read it again every couple of years.
I can quote a lot of the dialog after all this time. <g>

Yes I can see it for free (moviechannel on TV), but it is very, very long. Seems waste of time.
