Nope, not the Operation but the place.

Have any of you Continental types been to the races or airshows at the Goodwood Estate?

My brother-in-law and I are thinking heading over next year for the Revival.

An aerial adventure would be fun

I have been to that event - it's really good - when I went I was lucky enough to meet John Surtees, still the only man to have won world championships on both two and four wheels - a great man and so unassuming, he was willing to take time to speak to the general public.

If you do go, take a camera and please share the photos on here - the sounds and smells though - all those machines, all those engines, we will have to imagine....

I also went on my bike, and rode a cracking little B road on the way there from just outside Petersfield......the B2146 to South Harting, then onto the B2141, which meets the A286 just north of Chichester and not far from Goodwood.

Right now we're looking at next April.
When we go we will take gigabytes of pictures and videos.
I am very much looking forward to this.
And maybe sneaking over for a tour of the HMS Victory in Portsmouth.

Where did you stay?
