Hello all. Looking to get back into MP wargaming in a club. I spent 5 years in the US Army Military Police back in the 90's...Spent time in Korea and at Ft. Bragg, NC. I have played Combat Mission from the original CMBO. Also a huge fan of the Steel Panthers series over the years, but haven't played in a club for a few years now. Just recently purchase Combat Mission Battle for Normandy/Commonwealth Forces and will be getting Fortress Italy/Gustav Line in the near future as well as all the modules for Shockforce. I have an ongoing War in the Pacific Admirals Edition Game which has been very fun over the last 6 months or so...Looking to get in some games with human opponents...Was checking over your forums and decided to give it a go. Looks like an awesome community to get involved with...
 
Welcome. You are definitely in the right place. Nowhere else will you find the quality conversation or gaming any better. Check out the multiple tournaments and campaigns going on. Sign up and start playing.

Nice to see a fellow FGM member close by. Not so far west as you, I am located in Johnstown. I too play all the CM1 games along with the CM2 series. Also have SPMBT installed but have not played a game in ages. When your up and running we will have to get a game going.

Thanks all. As far as the Islanders; I didn't even see them making the Playoffs, but they are definitely an up and coming contender. I really like how they rebuilt the team. I have been reading through a bunch of posts on the site and really like the discussions. Hope to get more active once I adapt to my new work hours.

Joining this community was the right decision because Combat Mission is at it's best when played against other humans
- but in our download section you will also find a lot of new scenarios to play against the AI.

Here is plenty of stuff to check out and a lot of good people and reliable players to meet! :)
 
Was in your backyard man! Front row seats to the Steelers vs Giants preseason game. Kid from my hometown and highschool ran for 40 yards in the first quarter (Larod Stephens-Howling). He is small but reminds me of Warrick Dunn. Good time! $8.00 beers sucked though.
