Hello,

I'm a friendly young trucker (25 y/o) from Moose Jaw Saskatchewan. Just outside of town we have RCAF airbase where often the Snow Birds can be seen doing their practices, not to mention seeing all of the other aircraft at the base taking flight.

I'm a proud new father of a healthy young boy (born just Dec. 4) with my wonderful wife and best friend. I'm an avid gamer (though this has taken quite the back seat since our boy has been born), and have been interested in tactics and strategy since I was in my early teens. Social studies and history were always my favourite classes in school growing up; studying wars in particular always seemed to grab my attention far more than anything else.

In my usual perusing of the latest war and strategy games, this game caught my eye on the Mac Games Store.... no other games really keep my attention like this one does.

I've seen and heard of FGM on the battlefront forums and from several AAR's and figured it was about time that I joined if I wanted to start finding more opponents and perhaps start playing in some ladders. I'm happy playing either side though I do have a slight preference for the American order of battle.

I should probably cut it here before this turns into a rant (I should mention I'm a particularly friendly and chatty trucker).

Grace and Peace

Joining this community was the right decision because Combat Mission is at it's best when played against other humans - as you already know. ;)
But in our download section you will also find a lot of new scenarios to play against the AI.

Thanks for the greetings! Checking out those links now and I'll be sure to update my email as well. Very much looking forward to playing with many of you!

One of the great things that I have found about this game as opposed to many others is that there seems to be a great deal more mature, patient, helpful individuals around that are always willing to give of their time, even if your comments, questions, or concerns seem to be ignorant as well.

And yes life has changed, is changing, and I'm sure, will change even more as the days go by. :) All for the better though, of course.

Welcome aboard fellow Canuck. Greetings from London Ontario. Want to play some CMBN? Since you like American OB I don't mind playing the losing Germans in retreat. Good practice for defence. I can either direct PBEM or use Dropbox. My email is wim_ouds@yahoo.ca.
