I live 15 minutes from where you are. I flew a flag for a decade with no problems. I only stopped because the sun and wind seemed to trash the flags so badly. It was getting expensive replacing them all the time.

Having said that, my daughter has been taught A LOT of gibberish in school. The good news is that the gibberish is so bad that the kids know it is gibberish.
