Hi everyone,

I'm Jess (28F), and I'm from Scotland! I've recently got into Combat Mission as a good friend of mine I really enjoy historical wargaming with (mostly 28mm WW2 and Historical, including Saga, Crossfire, Chain of Command, but also played some Advanced Squad Leader) introduced me.

We've played a good few games and I enjoy playing against him, although he's much better than me! Keen to find some opponents closer to my skill level so that matches aren't quite so predictable before we begin

I own CM:BN, CM:RT, CM:SF2, CM:BS. Keen for games on all, come and say hello!

I have played Squad leader and a little ASL, but a little too many rules for me.
I thought Squad leader was the perfect balance.

I have to admit, ASL was a lot! I really like Combat Mission because it does all the calculations for you But also, generally I like a nice middle ground - like somewhere between an Arcade Shooter and a MilSim! Capture the feel without counting every rivet (not that there's anything wrong with counting rivets if that's your thing!)
