Hi there I'm BrainByte,
I found this site because I recently rediscovered Combat Mission after a very long and brief spell with the old old version and I'm amazed how well it has come on, and now I really want to play it, and play it well. With that I'm hoping to find a group of players who will take me under their wing and help me get the most out of it. I have recently purchased CM:BN with the two expansions and have started to work my way through the tutorials.
Apart from CM I have been playing light hearted strategy games like "Heroes of Normandie" and "Battle Academy 2" both of which are quick and fun to play.
About me, during the day I'm a software developer and when I get any free time (new dad means not much) I'm either playing strategy games, working on my own strategy game which I've called "Virtual War" or spending time trying to design my own strategy game system. I've been developing my own game for about 6 months so far on and off, and you can see full details of my progress over at my Virtual War website along with youtube videos of game-play.
Anyway if anybody would be interested in playing CM:BN with a complete newb then please drop me a comment and I'll be happy to test your knowledge
Cheers
