Help Identifying Symbol

Guys Im working on the latest YT documentary and have been poring over old German maps... Im trying to identify this symbol. I know the 2 behind are Heavy MG positions but Im guessing that the circled symbol is a section or squad leader (gruppenfuhrer)... can anyone advise?
