Hi - just purchased CM2 with CW and MG. Played CM1 for quite a while (back in the day :)). Also played Close combat and made a few mods (WW1) and most recently Scourge of War.

Hoping to find a couple of opponents. Could manage about 5 turns a week I reckon and tend to prefer the small sized battles.

You may want to go to the profile page and fill in a few more lines on your profile. For one, your e-mail addy will appear at the bottom of your avatar field, and your mates will be able to send you invites and correspondence.

Secondly, if you fill in where your from, we can at a glance know what time zone you are in. (important when exchanging turns via PBEM)

and here's a link to a World Time app that lets you know what time of day it is, anywhere the FGM can be found. I have it pasted to my bookmarks and can pull it up to see if my opponent is awake or asleep.

A few weeks ago I discovered the completely reworked/remastered Close Combat series at MatrixGames dot com ... - and bought them all! LOL! :cool:
 
Thanks for the welcome - already picked up a PBEM game against Nelson1812. I've updated my profile so people can see where I'm from and my time zone.

Re Close Combat - I really loved ABTF CC2 but it lost something after that and I never could go back to it after CM1 really and certainly couldn't now after CM2.

Welcome aboard Tim. I used to run games of CC2 over at Tournament House with a bunch of guys. We used to run lots of tourneys which were pretty fun. Let me know if you want to play. Maybe we could hook up for a game or two.
