Shorker, suggested I say a few words. Enjoyed my games with opponents here. Posted up a video a while ago. Like the new site layout. Nice to feel so welcome. Anyone else join in January?

Hello Macjim, did I...?

I can remeber it but you joined already about two years ago? But I'm only asking people from the "new members" list to introduce themselves to the club.
Didn't recognize your joining date...

 ...mysterious!

But anyway:

Welcome to THE FEW GOOD MEN!
Good to have you with us! :)

I'm from Canada. I entered an introduction post years ago. Thanks again for the warm welcome.

:)

Well, that was my fault - I saw you in the forum with having no avatar, 16 posts and text underneath your nickname saying "FGM New Member".
I didn't realize your date of entry and so - as a member of the Welcome Committee - I thought you were new to the club and encouraged you to write a short introduction. LOL! ;)

Thanks again Shorker, good work for the Committee. Perhaps we can consider this post a re-introduction. And my effort is sincere not sarcastic. It is great to see so many welcome comments.

My second Post was responding to Hedgehog's query.

Roger that! :)

Saw that you've registered at the CMx2 ladder - are you intzerested in a CMBN match maybe? :)

I would like to play a mission ... but I have never figured out H2H and am struggling with it.

This is no big thing - a H2H match is easy to set up. ;)

I'm sending you a turn, you save this turn under "Incoming E-Mail", start the game, play the turn from the start menu screen "saved games"
and when you end the turn by clicking the red button (as if you would be playing against the AI) it is automatically saved under "outgoing e-mails.
From there you pick the turn and send it out.

We can play by e-mail (PBEM) but more comfortable is the use of dropbox for to exchange our turns.

Do you have dropbox? If not, please install it on your computer - download here please ---> https://www.dropbox.com

I recommend to install your dropbox file into the Windows 7 folder "own documents" (I'm using a German version of Win7 - hope this translation is
correct resp. you know which folder I mean). This is the same folder where Combat Mission is installed ( as long as you didn't change the path when installing
CMBN / CMFI).

I recommend this because now you have Battelfront --> "B" very close together with Dropbox -> "D" in the same folder (for copy/paste the turns without a long search. ;)
