On September 13th 1942, the German 6th and 4th Armies launched a massive assault toward the city of Stalingrad. This campaign will cover most of that effort. The German push into Stalingrad consists initially of 4 infantry divisions, 2 panzer divisions, and one motorized infantry division. The city is defended by a horde of Soviet forces too long to list entirely.
The Historical Map:
ALTHOUGH We are following historical unit positions and names, we will start with FULL STRENGTH units. This will satisfy the blood thirsty commanders, and leave lots of room for them to correct any nasty habits that they may have. That isn't to say throw your troops away, quite the opposite. This is a campaign and commanders will be required to handle their troops with that in mind.

(Forgot to add that Stahel is already on the map, and 24th panzer won't be withdrawn. Also 92nd Naval Rifle Brigade will be allowed to redevelop itself when withdrawn back to the Volga on 30. Sep)
