How to change rank icons

A guy just asked me how to change his rank icon from 'Civilian', it's a bit tricky and the instructions are here-

PS- Hey Bootie why are there no German Army icon graphics in the first post over there?

And a guy wants the Cross of St George flag instead of the Union Jack, so how about you creating separate sets of English Scots, Welsh and Northern Irish flags?
