Just signed up, hoping there is an opening in the Overlord Campaign, as it looks very interesting. i usually have 6 to 10 games going at a time and have a pretty good turn rate. Hope to see you all on the battlefield.

Greetings and welcome here. Enjoy the new campaign and stay active.

I noticed you served in the USMC. For how long? Ever been deployed?

I'm former army recon. (Dutch Army)

Howdo Lone Star neighbor! I'm from Corpus Christi down on the coast. Where abouts in Tejas are you? Welcome! We have another Texan, T_Patch, on here who is up in DFW.

Welcome aboard.
Kghammer is a good player with a great turn rate.

Welcome aboard Brother!
Are you a Hollywood Marine or a real Marine (USMC inside joke)? I'm a Hollywood Marine (0311) class of 68.
Plenty of room in the Overlord Campaign.

Fac what is that thing between your nickname and your rank.

And you should but is this a FGM award or a real one? And why is it placed there?

I'm originally from Dallas, but living in the Houston area for the last 10 years in Tomball. Good to see some more Texans here :)

Faceman I'm a Hollywood Marine as well, complete with sunglasses and beach passes, class of 1982. Spent 8 years, my first tour with C 1/7 wpns platoon, then reenlisted and went to Wpns Trng Bn on Camp Pendleton training recruits marksmanship and ended up finishing my tour serving with the Marine Detachment on the carrier USS Nimitz.

Dutch Grenadier, i've deployed several time overseas.. never to Europe though, always to Asia. No combat deployments though. Alas, I was a Cold War warrior.

All my deployments were to WestPac, they knew if they ever sent me to Europe with its tall leggy blondes, I would never come back...
and it's Facman not Faceman, I was a Forward Air Controller with D 1/4 while in Vietnam and we were called FACmen.

Forward Observer for artillery, 13 Foxtrot, in the US Army here. Only served two years active, other six years were inactive reserve while in college. Only got to go to dustbowls in the US to practice for the middle east.

welcome and enjoy the place we have here, I am sure you will make many friends.

Funny you should say that about Europe Facman, i used to tell the wife the same thing :) Always said that places like Korea, Thailand, Philippines and Okinawa while they certainly had interesting sights ;-) she shouldn't worry, but if i even go to Europe and meet Helga all bets are off. Though I will say that while serving on the Nimitz we visited Hong Kong and Singapore and both cities had quite a diverse population or at least a whole lot of tourists from Europe.

Greetings Rambler, we are almost neighbors, I'm up in Tomball.
