HPS Gallic Wars

Has anyone played HPS Gallic Wars? I've seen this video several times:

but I guess I’d need to use a virtual machine to play it. I think it’s a really good game with a WEGO system, which is quite unusual considering it’s a game that’s several years old.

My experience w/HPS gaming was pretty much restricted to their ACW series of games. Even that
was a bit short lived. While I found a lot to like with the games the AI was just dreadful and I found
them to be virtually unplayable in short order.
If you like the genre then Field of Glory II is where you want to go.

You mean "Field of Glory II" ?

Indeed, best and most playable game in the genre.

Although purely field battles... sieges and fortifications don't feature.
