In which CM WW2 Titles can I find Sturm Battalion/Regiment

Hi Guys.

In which of the titles can i find the Sturm Troops armed with Stg44's?

Thanx in Advance, cause Ive looked and just cant find them.
 
There is also in Battle for Normandy. In the month of September only. The unit was called Panzergrenadier Battalion (Panzer Brigade). Two companies with two platoons of Sturmgrenadiers with Stg44's. The other platoon in each compmany is of 12cm mortars and 15cm infantry guns. The third company was made up of two platoons of Panzergrenadiers.

Is that for all areas in September or just one?
 
CMRT also has them from memory. Pretty sure it's purely a date specific thing as the German OOB started changing over to it's final incarnation for the final months of the war.
 
I just did some testing and so far only found one German formation with SMG-equipped infantry.

Armor > Sturmartillerie Brigade > Begleitgrenadier Company

They're very well equipped with mostly MP-40's, a few STG-44's, an LMG, a couple of panzerfausts (30k and 30) and a rifle-grenade launcher (2 AT grenades and a couple HE, woop woop).

I wish Battlefront had a section in the manuals dedicated to infantry formations, similar to what they have for the vehicles.

I actually asked that on bF forums when FB came out, but was told that WW2 info on formations is so readily available on the net, it is uneccesary.

Personally, since BF have put the hard yards into simulating these formations for us (and would have detailed minutia on them ), I don't understand why they don't document the formations, like they have in BS. I really haven't the time to fight the deluge of good and bad info on the web to understand the resources in game.
 
In formations that could have had the Stg44's if you select 'Excellent' in the box under formations, you will get more Stg44's and less MP40's, I have seen them show up with Squad Leaders in Aufklarung Squads in CMBN and CMRT with Panzer Aufklarung Battalion 44.. @Baron mentioned Begleitgrenadier Company which has quite a few... The will even appear in a HQ now and then with Panzer Grenadiers, and Pioneers...

again if you use the 'Excellent' box under formations, you end up with better equipment than using the 'Typical' default...

If you see it in the game manual then it can appear in the game, but I agree with @Gnarly it is a chore to get a formation with the weapons, etc you are looking for... I always thought it would be nice if they had a 2 or 3 man team (under Specialists Teams) that you could pick and customize, say you pick Custom Team (Have rarity number set out of site so you cant buy 100s of them) and then in the Formation area you can pick your poison say 1x Schreck and 2x MP44's, bla bla bla... could it be that tough... I say not....
