Forged in the crucible of the Indian Navy, the MARCOS (Marine Commandos) are the embodiment of aquatic dominance. Established in 1987, this elite unit is renowned for its expertise in amphibious operations, underwater combat, and maritime counter-terrorism. With a grueling selection process that weeds out all but the most determined, MARCOS commandos undergo rigorous training that hones their physical and mental fortitude to superhuman levels. The MARCOS selection process is notoriously demanding, with over 80% of applicants failing to make the cut even in the initial physical fitness tests. Those who endure this initial gauntlet are then subjected to the infamous “Hell’s Week” – a five-week ordeal of extreme sleep deprivation, bone-crushing physical challenges, and unrelenting psychological pressure. The culmination of this training is the “death crawl,” an 800-meter mud slog concluded with a marksmanship test that separates the true elite from the rest.

Equipped with the cutting-edge Tavor TAR-21 assault rifle, MARCOS commandos are capable of emerging from the depths, weapons drawn and ready to engage. This weather-sealed weapon allows them to seamlessly transition from underwater operations to land-based combat, making them a formidable force in any environment.
